बांग्लादेश में हसीना के तख्तापलट के बाद पहला चुनाव

बांग्लादेश में शेख हसीना सरकार के तख्तापलट के करीब डेढ़ साल बाद फिर से आम चुनाव होने जा रहा है। बांग्लादेश के मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त एएमएम नासिर उद्दीन ने 12 फरवरी, 2026 को चुनाव कराने की घोषणा की है।

छात्र आंदोलन के हिंसक विद्रोह के बाद बांग्लादेश में पहली बार चुनाव होने जा रहा है। इस आम चुनाव में शेख हसीना की पार्टी आवामी लीग हिस्सा नहीं ले पाएगी। क्योंकि, आवामी लीग के कई बड़े नेताओं के गिरफ्तारी के साथ ही पार्टी को चुनाव लड़ने और राजनीतिक गतिविधियों पर रोक लगा दी गई है।

बांग्लादेश में क्या है चुनावी प्रक्रिया?
भारत की तरह ही बांग्लादेश में भी हर 5 साल में चुनाव कराने का प्रावधान है। यहां संसद की कुल 350 सीटें हैं, जिसमें 50 महिलाओं के लिए आरक्षित है। 300 सीटों पर सदस्य राष्ट्रीय चुनाव के माध्यम से पांच साल के कार्यकाल के लिए एकल-सीट निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों से सीधे चुने जाते हैं, जबकि 50 सीटें महिलाओं के लिए आरक्षित होती हैं, जिनका चयन सत्तारूढ़ दल या गठबंधन द्वारा किया जाता है। चुनाव के नतीजे आने के बाद सबसे बड़ी पार्टी या गठबंधन के सांसद अपना नेता चुनते हैं। जिसे आगे जाकर प्रधानमंत्री बनाया जाता है।

आखिरी बार कब हुआ था चुनाव?
यहां आखिरी बार 7 जनवरी 2024 को ही आम चुनाव हुआ था। जब शेख हसीना के नेतृत्व वाली आवामी लीग ने चौथी बार चुनाव जीता था। 2024 चुनाव के दौरान आवामी लीग ने 224 सीटें जीतीं, जबकि निर्दलीय उम्मीदवारों ने 62 सीटें जीती थीं। लेकिन जून-जुलाई में शुरू हुए छात्रों के आंदोलन ने अगस्त में विकराल रूप ले लिया। छात्र आंदोलन के हिंसक हो जाने और सेना के दबाव में आकर शेख हसीना ने 5 अगस्त 2024 को प्रधानमंत्री पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया, उसी दिन ढाका छोड़कर भारत आ गई थीं। तब से वह यहीं पर हैं।

शेख हसीना के इस्तीफे और छात्रों के विद्रोह के बाद बांग्लादेश में पहली बार चुनाव होने जा रहा है। लेकिन शेख हसीना की पार्टी इसमें हिस्सा नहीं ले पाएगी। लेकिन इसको लेकर चुनाव की निष्पक्षता पर सवाल उठ रहे हैं, क्योंकि अवामी लीग को अभी भी जनता के बीच काफी समर्थन प्राप्त है।

किसके-किसके बीच मुकाबला?
बाग्लादेश में संसदीय चुनाव लड़ने के इच्छुक उम्मीदवारों को 29 दिसंबर तक नामांकन पत्र दाखिल करना होगा। चुनाव से उम्मीदवारी वापस लेने की अंतिम तिथि 20 जनवरी है। 12 फरवरी 2026 को सुबह 7:30 से शाम 4:30 बजे तक मतदान होगा। इस दौरान कुल 300 सीटों पर 12.8 करोड़ मतदाता वोट डाल सकेंगे। बांग्लादेश के आम चुनाव में मुख्य मुकाबला पूर्व पीएम खालिदा जिया की बीएनपी, कट्टरपंथी जमात-ए-इस्लामी और आंदोलनकारी छात्रों की एनसीपी पार्टी के गठबंधन के बीच होगा।
