प्रदेश के तीनों ऊर्जा निगमों (यूपीसीएल, यूजेवीएनएल, पिटकुल) की ओर से भेजे गए टैरिफ प्रस्तावों में कुछ कमियां मिली हैं। उत्तराखंड विद्युत नियामक आयोग ने इस संबंध में पत्र भेजकर जवाब मांगा है। इस बार तीनों ऊर्जा निगमों ने जो प्रस्ताव दिया है, उसके मुताबिक बिजली दरों में करीब 18.50 प्रतिशत बढ़ोतरी का प्रस्ताव है।
यूपीसीएल ने 16.23 प्रतिशत और पिटकुल ने करीब तीन प्रतिशत का प्रस्ताव दिया है। पहली बार यूजेवीएनएल का टैरिफ प्रस्ताव माइनस 1.2 प्रतिशत है। नियामक आयोग के समक्ष यूजेवीएनएल और पिटकुल ने तो 30 नवंबर से पहले ही प्रस्ताव दे दिया था लेकिन यूपीसीएल ने नौ दिसंबर के करीब प्रस्ताव दिया।
नियामक आयोग के अधिकारियों ने इनका अध्ययन करने के बाद कुछ बिंदुओं पर जवाब मांगा है। इसके लिए तीनों ऊर्जा निगमों को 17 दिसंबर तक का समय दिया गया है। जानकारी स्पष्ट होने के बाद इनकी याचिका दायर होगी। इसके बाद फरवरी में नियामक आयोग इन पर जनसुनवाई करेगा और सभी हितधारकों से सुझाव व आपत्तियां लेगा। फिर विश्लेषण के बाद नए वित्तीय वर्ष 2026-27 के लिए टैरिफ जारी किया जाएगा। नई बिजली दरें एक अप्रैल से लागू होंगी।
