सूर्यकुमार यादव की जाएगी कप्तानी, वैभव सू्र्यवंशी की होगी टीम इंडिया में एंट्री
इस साल सितंबर में होने वाले एशियन गेम्स में क्रिकेट भी खेला जाएगा, लेकिन इन खेलों में भारत की जो टी20 टीम जाएगी उसके कप्तान सूर्यकुमार यादव नहीं होंगे। इन खेलों के लिए बीसीसीआई ने जो संभावित क्रिकेटरों की लिस्ट दी है उसमें सूर्यकुमार का नाम शामिल नहीं है। इस लिस्ट में वैभव सूर्यवंशी का नाम जरूर है।

बीसीसीआई ने इन खेलों के लिए कुल 30 खिलाड़ियों की लिस्ट सौंपी है जिसमें से 15 खिलाड़ी चुने जाएंगे। ये लिस्ट आयोजकों को भेजी जा चुकी है। 2023 में जब एशियन गेम्स हुए थे तब ऋतुराज गायकवाड़ ने भारतीय टीम की कप्तानी की थी और गोल्ड मेडल दिलाया था। उस टीम के नौ सदस्य भी लिस्ट में है जिनमें गायकवाड़ का नाम भी शामिल है।
लक्ष्मण होंगे कोच
इन खेलों के लिए सिर्फ कप्तानी में बदलाव देखने को नहीं मिलेगा बल्कि कोचिंग स्टाफ में भी बदलाव होगा। टीम इंडिया के हेड कोच गौतम गंभीर एशियान गेम्स में नहीं जाएंगे। उनकी जगह बीसीसीआई के सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस में काम कर रहे वीवीएस. लक्ष्मण हेड कोच की जिम्मेदारी निभाएंगे। गंभीर का नाम लिस्ट में नहीं है। उनकी जगह लक्ष्मण को जगह मिली है। एशियाई खेलों में 24 सितंबर से तीन अक्टूबर के बीच क्रिकेट का आयोजन होगा।
एशियन गेम्स से पहले भी टीम में आ सकते हैं वैभव
वैभव ने आईपीएल में जिस तरह का प्रदर्शन किया है उसे देखते हुए वह एशियन गेम्स से पहले भी टीम में आ सकते हैं। भारत को 26 जून से आयरलैंड का दौरा करना है और टी20 सीरीज खेलनी है। बहुत संभावना है कि वैभव इस टीम का हिस्सा हों। इस सीरीज के बाद भारत को इंग्लैंड, जिम्बाब्वे के खिलाफ भी सीरीज खेलनी है।
