यूपी में लाइसेंस वापस कर रहीं कफ सिरप बनाने वाली कंपनियां
उत्तर प्रदेश में कफ सिरप बनाने वाली कंपनियां लाइसेंस समर्पण कर रही हैं। इसकी मूल वजह विभागीय कड़ाई, मानकों में बदलाव की तैयारी और दिल्ली व हरियाणा के कफ सिरप के मूल्य कम होना बताए जा रहे हैं। सप्ताहभर में चार कंपनियों ने लाइसेंस समर्पण संबंधी आवेदन किया है।
प्रदेश में कफ सिरप बनाने वाली 37 कंपनियां हैं। इसमें 17 सक्रिय रूप से सिरप निर्माण में लगी हैं, जबकि अन्य का कहना है कि वे सिरप निर्माण नहीं कर रही हैं। पिछले दिनों राजस्थान और मध्य प्रदेश में बच्चों की मौत के बाद खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं औषधि प्रशासन विभाग (एफएसडीए) की टीम ने सभी कंपनियों की जांच की। जांच के दौरान व्यापक तौर पर कमियां पाई गई हैं। सूत्रों का कहना है कि जिन कंपनियों का दावा है कि वे कई साल से सिरप नहीं बना रही हैं। उनकी यूनिटों में सिरप बनाने संबंधी कच्चा माल मिला है। इससे आशंका है कि ये कंपनियां घालमेल कर रही हैं।
विभाग ने इनकी जांच के लिए कमेटी गठित किया है। इसी तरह मानकों की अनदेखी के आरोप में चार कंपनियों का उत्पादन रोक दिया गया है। विभागीय कड़ाई के बाद चार कंपनियों ने लाइसेंस समर्पण के लिए आवेदन किया है। ये कंपनियां हापुड़, मधुरा और लखनऊ की बताई जा रही हैं। कंपनियों ने तर्क दिया है कि वे लंबे समय से सिरप उत्पादन नहीं कर रही हैं। उनके द्वारा तैयार किए जा रहे सिरप की लागत अधिक आती है। जबकि दिल्ली व हरियाणा से निर्मित सिरप सस्ता है। इस कारोबार में घाटा होने की वजह से लाइसेंस समर्पित कर रहे हैं।
