माली में जिहादी हमलों में 70 से ज्यादा लोगों की मौत

इन हमलों में शुक्रवार को हुए सुनियोजित हमले भी शामिल हैं। इससे पहले बुधवार को गांवों पर भी हमले किए गए थे। बुधवार के हमलों में कम से कम 30 लोग मारे गए थे।
‘सेना ने नहीं की कोई मदद’
हालांकि, एक अन्य स्थानीय अधिकारी ने मरने वालों की संख्या इससे ज्यादा बताई है और अनुमान लगाया है कि लगभग 80 लोग मारे गए हैं। न्यूज एजेंसी एएफपी के अनुसार, एक स्थानीय युवा नेता ने कहा, “हमारा दिल खून के आंसू रो रहा है।” उन्होंने पास में तैनात सेना की टुकड़ियों पर आरोप लगाया कि मदद के लिए बार-बार गुहार लगाने के बावजूद उन्होंने कोई दखल नहीं दिया।

बुधवार को बामाको में हुई एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में माली की सेना के कमांडर जिब्रिला माइगा ने बताया कि अप्रैल में हुए हमलों के बाद लड़ाके फिर से एकजुट होने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। अप्रैल के इन हमलों में रक्षा मंत्री सादियो कामारा की मौत हो गई थी और माली के नेतृत्व का साथ दे रही रूसी सेना को उत्तरी क्षेत्र के अहम शहर किदाल से पीछे हटना पड़ा था।
अल जजीरा के अनुसार, माइगा ने कहा, “खतरा अभी भी बना हुआ है।” उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि सेना इन लड़ाकों की गतिविधियों को रोकने के लिए लगातार सक्रिय है।
