पढ़ाई का दबाव और न्यूरोलॉजिकल स्ट्रेस

भारतीय समाज में करियर को लेकर उम्मीदें बहुत ज्यादा हैं। प्रतियोगी परीक्षाएं, नंबर लाने का दबाव और परिवार की उम्मीदें टीनएजर्स में क्रॉनिक स्ट्रेस को जन्म दे रही हैं। जब कोई युवा लंबे समय तक तनाव में रहता है, तो उसके शरीर में कोर्टिसोल नाम के स्ट्रेस हार्मोन का स्तर बढ़ जाता है। 

न्यूरोलॉजी के अनुसार, कोर्टिसोल बढ़ने से दिमाग की याद रखने, नई चीजें सीखने और भावनाओं को कंट्रोल करने की क्षमता को नुकसान पहुंचता है।

डिजिटल दुनिया का मायाजाल
आजकल युवाओं का ज्यादा समय रील्स और शॉर्ट्स देखते हुए बीतता है। इस डिजिटल हाइपरकनेक्टिविटी ने हमारे दिमाग के काम करने के तरीके को बदल दिया है। स्क्रीन पर मिलने वाले हर लाइक और नोटिफिकेशन से दिमाग में डोपामाइन रिलीज होता है।

इस वजह से युवाओं को स्क्रीन की लत लग जाती है, जो बाद में चिड़चिड़ापन, ध्यान न लगना, नींद की कमी और सिरदर्द जैसी न्यूरोलॉजिकल समस्याओं में बदल जाती है।

अकेलेपन को बढ़ावा देती शहरी लाइफस्टाइल
बड़े शहरों में पढ़ाई और नौकरी के लिए युवाओं का पलायन तेजी से बढ़ा है। नए शहरों में जाकर युवा अकेलेपन का शिकार हो रहे हैं। ऑफिस में कड़ा मुकाबला, नौकरी जाने का डर और आर्थिक असुरक्षा उनके भीतर एंग्जायटी और डिप्रेशन को बढ़ा रही है।

कम उम्र में निकोटीन, शराब या ड्रग्स का इस्तेमाल दिमाग के विकास को रोक देता है। यह स्थिति खासतौर से फ्रंटल लोब को प्रभावित करती है, जो हमारे फैसले लेने की क्षमता को संभालता है।

सामाजिक संकोच और लोक-लाज
