Pipra Ghat Gomti River Cleaning Campaign Sets Promising Tone for Environmental Protection

From the crack of dawn, a dedicated group of young volunteers, ranging from doctors to theatre actors, social workers to students, lent their hands to the cause, converging on the banks of the Gomti River at Pipra Ghat.

In a remarkable display of collective effort, these volunteers managed to collect and responsibly dispose of approximately 500 kilograms of waste, signaling a promising start to the campaign. With such fervent participation, the Trust anticipates that the number of volunteers will burgeon into the thousands in the forthcoming seasons.

Acknowledging the indispensable support of the Municipal Corporation, the Trust gratefully acknowledges the timely provision of essential resources. Hand tools and gloves were generously provided, followed by the arrival of a garbage disposal vehicle, underscoring the significance of collaborative partnerships in such initiatives.

Expressing heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers who selflessly dedicated their time, energy, and resources, the Naman Vasundhara Trust emphasizes the long-term impact envisioned by this campaign. Beyond merely cleaning the riverbanks, the Trust aims to foster a sustainable environment that ensures the well-being of both present and future generations. Leading this commendable effort are esteemed individuals including Naman Vasundhara Founder Trustee Snehil Kumar Lal and Trustee Shahabaz Khan, alongside a dedicated team of volunteers comprising Dr. Sameer Ahmad, Dr. Siddharth J.
