पेट्रोल निकालने के बाद टैंक को कुुछ देर के लिए खुला छोड़ देना चाहिए। इसके बाद टैंक को खोलकर अच्छी तरह से सफाई करवानी चाहिए। ऐसा करने से टैंक में मौजूद पानी की बूदों को भी आसानी से साफ किया जा सकता है।
इंजन को भी करें चेक
अगर ऊपर बताए सभी कामों को आपने कर लिया है तो फिर आखिरी में इंजन को भी चेक करवाना चाहिए। ऐसा करने से यह पता चल जाता है कि इंजन तक पानी पहुंचा है या नहीं। अगर इंजन तक पानी नहीं पहुंचा हो तो फिर बाइक को स्टार्ट करना चाहिए। लेकिन अगर पानी पहुंचने का खतरा हो तो सर्विस सेंटर पर जाकर इंजन तक पहुंचे पानी को हटवाना चाहिए।
