प्रदेश की राज्यपाल आनंदी बेन पटेल, उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री योगेंद्र उपाध्याय और उच्च शिक्षा विभाग की राज्यमंत्री रजनी तिवारी बृहस्पतिवार को रुहेलखंड विश्वविद्यालय के दीक्षांत समारोह में शामिल होंगे। प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री सपा मुखिया अखिलेश यादव भी शहर में होंगे। जबकि, झारखंड के राज्यपाल संतोष कुमार गंगवार बुधवार रात को ही शहर आ गए हैं। ऐसे में सुरक्षा के पुख्ता बंदोबस्त किए गए हैं।
एसपी सिटी मानुष पारीक ने बताया कि छह एएसपी, 18 सीओ, 20 इंस्पेक्टर, 171 सब इंस्पेक्टर, 670 हेड कांस्टेबल, 100 महिला कांस्टेबलों के साथ दो कंपनी पीएसी और क्यूआरटी की भी तैनाती की गई है। खुफिया टीमें भी अलर्ट मोड पर हैं। एहतियातन शहर में ट्रैफिक डायवर्जन लागू किया गया है। सुबह सात बजे से लेकर वीवीआईपी के शहर में रहने तक भारी वाहनों का प्रवेश प्रतिबंधित रहेगा।

बृहस्पतिवार के कार्यक्रमों से पहले बुधवार को सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर चेकिंग अभियान चलाया गया। इसके अलावा यूनिवर्सिटी के आसपास स्थित होटलों में भी पड़ताल की गई। सीसीटीवी कैमरों के जरिये भी निगरानी की जा रही है।
सुबह सात बजे से शहर में वाहनों का प्रवेश बंद
रुहेलखंड विश्वविद्यालय के दीक्षांत समारोह और अति महत्वपूर्ण अतिथियों की मौजूदगी की वजह से बृहस्पतिवार को शहर की यातायात व्यवस्था बदली रहेगी। सुबह सात बजे से अतिथियों की शहर में मौजूदगी तक भारी वाहनों का प्रवेश प्रतिबंधित रहेगा। एसपी ट्रैफिक अकमल खान ने बताया कि परसाखेड़ा रोड नंबर एक, विलवा पुल, लालपुर कट, विलयधाम, नवदिया झादा, ट्रांसपोर्टनगर, रामगंगा तिराहा, बुखारा मोड़ से कोई भी भारी वाहन शहर में प्रवेश नहीं कर सकेगा।
दिल्ली व रामपुर की ओर से आने वाले भारी वाहन व रोडवेज बसें झुमका तिराहे से बड़ा बाइपास, विलयधाम, नवदिया झादा, फरीदपुर, फतेहगंज पूर्वी, दातागंज, देवचरा, भमोरा होते हुए बदायूं की ओर आ-जा सकेंगी। नैनीताल व पीलीभीत की ओर से आने वाले वाहनों को भी इसी मार्ग से बदायूं की ओर गुजारा जाएगा। लखनऊ की तरफ से दिल्ली जाने वाले भारी वाहन फरीदपुर, रजऊ तिराहा, बड़ा बाइपास होते हुए गुजारे जाएंगे।
बदायूं की ओर से आने वाले वाहन भमोरा, देवचरा, फतेहगंज पूर्वी, रजऊ तिराहा होते हुए ट्रांसपोर्ट नगर तक आ सकेंगे। बदायूं व लखनऊ की ओर से आने वाली रोडवेज बसें रजऊ तिराहा से सेटेलाइट बस अड्डे तक आ सकेंगी। इस दौरान पुराने बस अड्डे से बसों का संचालन बंद रहेगा।
