डॉक्टर का दावा है कि तेहरान में 200 से अधिक प्रदर्शनकारी मारे गए हैं। टाइम पत्रिका को तेहरान के एक डॉक्टर ने बताया कि राजधानी के सिर्फ छह अस्पतालों में कम से कम 217 प्रदर्शनकारियों की मौत दर्ज की गई है, जिनमें से अधिकतर की जान सुरक्षा बलों की तरफ से की गई गोलीबारी में गई है। डॉक्टर ने ईरानी अधिकारियों के डर से नाम न छापने की शर्त पर यह बड़ी जानकारी साझा की। हालांकि टाइम पत्रिका ने इन आंकड़ों की स्वतंत्र रूप से पुष्टि नहीं की है।
सत्ता के खिलाफ जनता का हल्ला बोल

इंटरनेट स्वतंत्रता पर नजर रखने वाली संस्था नेटब्लॉक्स ने शासन की तरफ से लागू किए गए इंटरनेट प्रतिबंध का दस्तावेजीकरण किया। संस्था ने बताया कि राष्ट्रव्यापी इंटरनेट बंद किए हुए अब 24 घंटे हो चुके हैं और कनेक्टिविटी सामान्य स्तर के 1% पर स्थिर है। यह जारी डिजिटल ब्लैकआउट ईरानियों के मौलिक अधिकारों और स्वतंत्रता का उल्लंघन करता है और शासन की हिंसा को छुपाता है।
विरोध प्रदर्शन के बीच खामेनेई का बड़ा बयान
