दिल्ली को आज मिलेंगी 200 ई-बसें, रोहतक तक शुरू होगी इंटर-स्टेट सेवा
दिल्ली सरकार शुक्रवार को सार्वजनिक परिवहन से जुड़ी कई बड़ी परियोजनाओं की शुरुआत करेगी। राजधानी को 200 नई इलेक्ट्रिक बसें मिलेंगी, दिल्ली-रोहतक इंटर-स्टेट ई-बस सेवा शुरू होगी और दो नए इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर प्रोजेक्ट जनता को समर्पित किए जाएंगे। नई दो सौ बसें आने के बाद डीटीसी के बेड़े में बसों की संख्या करीब 6300 हो जाएगी। इनमें 4538 इलेक्ट्रिक और 1759 सीएनजी बसें होंगी। ईवी बसों के मामले में दिल्ली की स्थिति देश में और मजबूत होगी।
नई बसें लो-फ्लोर और एयर कंडीशन्ड होंगी। इनमें सीसीटीवी कैमरे, पैनिक बटन, रियल टाइम ट्रैकिंग सिस्टम और दिव्यांगजनों के लिए विशेष सुविधाएं होंगी। इसके साथ ही दिल्ली-रोहतक इंटर-स्टेट इलेक्ट्रिक बस सेवा भी शुरू की जाएगी। यह बसें आईएसबीटी कश्मीरी गेट और पीरागढ़ी चौक से होते हुए टिकरी बॉर्डर, बहादुरगढ़, सांपला और रोहतक बस स्टैंड तक जाएंगी। सरकार मदनपुर खादर में कालिंदी कुंज मेट्रो स्टेशन के पास नया बस टर्मिनल भी शुरू करेगी।
