वन्यजीव प्रेमियों का इंतजार आज खत्म हो गया है। राजाजी टाइगर रिजर्व के सभी पर्यटन गेट आज विधिवत रूप से खोल दिए गए हैं। पार्क की मोतीचूर, चीला, रानीपुर व मोहंड रेंज अपने वन्यजीव पर्यटन के लिये विख्यात है। मोतीचूर रेंज में आज विधिवत रूप से पूजा अर्चना की गई। रेंज अधिकारी महेश सेमवाल व वार्डन सरिता भट्ट ने रिबन काट कर पर्यटक सीजन की शुरुआत की।
वहीं, चीला रेंज में वार्डन चित्रांजलि नेगी, रेंज अधिकारी बीडी तिवारी व रेंज अधिकारी राजेश जोशी ने चीला पर्यटन मार्ग को खोला। पार्क की मोतीचूर रेंज में पंहुचने वाले पर्यटको के लिए इस बार नए रिसेप्सन सेंटर का निर्माण किया गया है। साथ ही पर्यटको की सुरक्षा के लिए भी पुख्ता इंतजाम किए गए।
वन्यजीवों का दीदार करने के लिए आने वाले पर्यटकों के लिए पार्क प्रशासन ने प्रवेश शुल्क में कोई वृद्धि नहीं की है। मोतीचूर रेंज अधिकारी महेश सेमवाल के अनुसार भारतीय पर्यटक से 150 रुपये, विदेशी से 600, भारतीय वाहन से 250, विदेशी वाहन से 500 रुपये का प्रवेश शुल्क लिया जाएगा। छात्रों को प्रवेश शुल्क में 50 प्रतिशत की छूट दी गई है। वन विश्राम भवन में ठहरने का शुल्क 1000 रुपये निर्धारित किया गया है। व्यावसायिक कैमरा शुल्क 500 रुपये लिया जाएगा।
डग्गामार वाहनों पर लगाई रोक
राजाजी टाइगर रिजर्व की मोतीचूर रेंज में डग्गामार वाहनों के प्रवेश पर पूरी तरह से प्रतिबंध लगा दिया गया है। पर्यटकों को वन्यजीवों का दीदार करने के लिए जिन वाहनों को प्रवेश की अनुमति मिली है उनका रजिस्ट्रेशन होना अनिवार्य है। टैक्सी नंबर और रजिस्टर्ड वाहन ही पर्यटकों को जंगल सफारी करा सकेंगे।
